Thanks, Charlie! It's starting to sink in... I think I'm going to be a very busy girl!
Well done you. Another OC success story. I know you'll be brilliant in changing us westies into storytellers and resders of note.
Hey Linden,
I am so happy to be flying the Westie flag! I hope Miss Cashman would be proud! Love, Judy xox Congratulations on gining this position. This type of position is one which is needed in every state and district to liase between the school and library sectors to promote children's literature. let's hope that by your example and good deeds the seeds can be sown for other areas to follow suit and create similar positions.
Hi Lorene,
Thanks--and yes, it would be great if every state could have such a position. Here in NSW it took more than ten years for it to happen--good luck for Tassie! Judith Oh congratulations Judith. I think you will be amazing at this.
Thanks, Clare. I do aspire to be amazing. I may need more sleep
J x Hip hip hooray Judith! You are going to be brilliant. Cheers, D
Hi Dawn! I have your advocacy for challenging youth lit in my internal ear all the time, and hope to be as brilliant and thoughtful as you are in this new position.
Thanks for the support, J x Well, Judith, what a merry-go-round life is. Just when I have moved away from Blacktown you are moving in! Congratulations - you will be great.
Ah, Marita--it's the Lobster Quadrille again. You go East, I go West--and hopefully we will continue to pursue the good dance of bringing reading and writing into the lives of our young charges.
And thanks for the vote of confidence! J x Judith,
Well done. We need to keep fighting our corner. Go get 'em! Mike Wow, thanks, Mike.
You know that you will be a lifeline for me. Fists up! J x Congratulations, Judith. That sounds really exciting and worth the wait!
Thanks for the good wishes, Elizabeth--and such beautiful photos on your site!
Cheers, Judith Glad you enjoyed the pics - I'm really excited about this new project. I just hope we can sustain the momentum.
Judith -- this is fantastic news, I'm so thrilled for you!!
Cheers, Erica Thanks, mate! All these kind responses have been pretty overwhelming.
Cheers, Judith big congratulations... and welcome to the western suburbs (does living in Katoomba make me a westie... i hope so).
Hi Steven,
I'm actually a westie from way back--Parramatta High in the mid seventies. So it's a home-coming, of sorts! See you round the traps! Judith Congratulations, Judith! I think that you'll do great things.
Brilliant. What a wonderful job.
Can I write about it in my newspaper column? Pen Hi Pen,
Yes, of course you can—the news is public now. Do I know you? Tell me about your newspaper column! (I found a reference to you on the dotlit site, which I will be investigating!) Cheers, Judith |
