In the Australian children's classic Seven Little Australians, Misrule is the name given to the home of the Woolcott family, of whom author Ethel Turner says, 'None of the seven is really good, for the excellent reason that Australian children never are.' Fortunately, the books written and illustrated for Australian children often are 'really good'. The Misrule website is the home of Australian children's literature on the internet. It is owned by Judith Ridge. This is her blog. |
